DOSITECH feeds the right quantity of ink into all the ink fountains and keeps it constant over a long period of time, thanks to it’s innovative automatic changer.

A cartridge holder moves back and forth above the ink fountain, the ink level is monitored by a sensor and, when required, ink is added automatically.

1. How it’s done.

   The most advanced electronic solutions, mechanical and pneumatic characterize all DOSITECH components. Here are the principal ones:

   1. Cartridge holder unit with power mechanisms of roto-transfer and ink supply. Contains the ink cartridge, moves it onto the ink fountain, empties it and, finally, replaces it with another one. Why settle for less?
   2. Ink level measuring system. Thanks to a sophisticated electronic sensor, the ink level in the ink fountain is measured with unequalled precision. Whether you print in black, yellow or magenta the precision doesn’t change.
   3. Automatic storing of ink cartridges: a distributor for new cartridges on top and a collection point for empty ones below. Is that it? Not quite, but to use it you don’t have to know more; just load the cartridges and they’ll come back empty!
   4. Touch-screen control panel. Practical and intuitive. The parameters to be set, data on the state of the system and diagnosis are clearly visualized. The system responds to a simple touch. An optional centralized control system gives information regarding the ink consumption.

   
    
    

2. What it does.

   A perfect synthesis of technology and ingenuity, DOSITECH offers superior performance:

   1. Automatic ink feed. As soon as the cartridge is in the required position, the built-in activator is extended to feed the right quantity of ink; nothing more, nothing less.
   2. Ink quantity control. The ink level is measured in the different chromatic zones of the ink fountain and any variation to the pre-established level is automatically restored.
   3. Automatic cartridge replacement.The possibility to manage many cartridges increases the autonomy of the system. It’s up to you whether to use cartridges containing the same colour, as if they were only one cartridge, rather than programme personalised change methods. All you need to do is press a key to activate or disactivate cartridge replacement.

Yes, the advantages. Takes these into consideration; after all a great design alone isn’t enough!

• Reduction make-ready times. DOSITECH takes the same time to fill up one, two, four…or six ink fountains. And you?
• Less ink waste. It’s often said that you can go far with little. The ink fountain works with a minimum quantity of ink and the residue left in the cartridge is only 5 grammes. In this way, you can obtain lower ink bills, less solvent use and reduced machine clean-up and waste disposal costs.
• Maximum stability during printing. Tired of full ink fountain that as they empty compromise print quality? You can decide the ink quantity and be sure that the same quantity will remain from the first to the last sheet. After all, much of the substrate lost as spoilage is a direct result of problems due to the ink not being applied in accordance with customer and/or quality requirements. Think about it.
• Better work conditions. Climb on the printing unit, check it, take the can and spatula, fill it up, climb down and then climb up again, check it… With DOSITECH you can forget about ink fountains and think about what’s really important: your print.
